• £32,000+ DOE
• Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:30pm
• (Perm Role)

Major Recruitment are hiring for x2 Junior Service Engineers to their growing team. This will be working for a well-established engineering company who specialise in the manufacturing, installation and servicing within the domestic and commercial basement markets

This is a great opportunity for someone mechanically and electrically minded who wants hands-on training, real progression, and long-term stability.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Service, maintenance and repair of systems

• Fault finding on mechanical and electrical components

• Assisting with installation and commissioning

• Diagnosing issues and carrying out repairs on-site

• Completing job sheets and service reports

• Providing good customer service on client sites

• You will be working on submersible ground/surface and foul water systems, either alone or as part of a small team attending private and commercial properties.

• Ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently

What’s On Offer

• £32,000+ depending on experience

• Permanent position

• 33 days annual leave including Bank Holiday days

• Paid door-to-door travel time

• Time and a half from 5:30pm–10pm

• Double time from 10pm–5am

• Flat travel time rate

• Company van (fully kitted out)

• Fuel card provided

• Tools, PPE and uniform supplied

• Ongoing training and development

• Early finish if jobs are completed ahead of schedule

What They’re Looking For

• Mechanical and electrical aptitude

• Industry experience preferred but not essential

• Open to different experience levels

• Full clean UK driving licence (essential)

• CSCS card desirable

• Reliable, professional and willing to learn

• Ideally located in London or within the M25, you have strong analytical skills and a track record in fault finding and troubleshooting.
